Abstract: This research aimed to examine the influence of profitability, firm size, MTBV, cash flow and sales growth toward dividend policy on the fnancial sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2008-2012. The research sample consisted of 16 financial sector companies. The sampling method using purposive sampling technique. Techniques of data analysis in this research uses multiple linier regression analysis and hypothesis testing performed using the F test and t test. The result showed that the variables of profitability, MTBV, and sales growth no effect on dividend policy. While the variables firm size and cash flow had a negative effect on dividend policy.
