PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN GERAK MELALUI SENAM IRAMA ANAKTUNAGRAHITA KELAS V DI SLB/C DHARMA WANITALEBO SIDOARJO

The research is conducted in SLB Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo with the numbe r ofstudent as much as people, 1 male student and two female students on movement andrhytm lesson. And the findings of the study showed an increase in the ability to applygymnastics movement and rhythm on physical education learning exercise and health forthe fifth grade mental retardation student of SLB Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo. Theresult shows when the learning activities take place. The data collection method used in thisstudy is the observation and documentation method. The data is obtained and analyzed byqualitative-descriptive approach. The result showed that during pre-action, the re was a46% increase in motor skills through gymnastics and rhythm towards the fifth grade ofmental retardation students of SLB Dharma Wanita lebo Sidoarjo. After the action on thesecond cycle. The result increase to 96%. The conclution of study is that learning physicaleducation and health can improve motor skills toward the fifth grade mental retardationstudents of SLB Dharma Wanita Lebo Sidoarjo.Key word : Motion Skills, Exercise and Rhythm, Mental Retardation Students
