Problems cannot be solved by the same conditioned mind in which they emerge, as it is well known. In the first part of this paper, how the problem of psychotherapy ointegration is explored in the context of comparative research. It is argued that, as any complex problem, the problem of psychotherapy integration is solved by itself. In the second part of this paper, contributions from sociology of culture are review to understand how psychotherapy along the XX century has become a new cultural frame.
