The economic crisis has had an impact at many levels, including on education. In Spain, there has been little in-depth research into its effect on the education system and the profile of those most affected. Given the difficulty of accessing reliable information on these issues, our study consists of a survey of representatives of management teams from preschool and primary education centers (3-12 years) in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. This respondent profile made it possible to obtain indirect information about what is experienced, in differing degrees, in schools.
