Background and aims: In plasma, homocysteine (Hcy) circulates free or bound to proteins (Pb-Hcy). Our study sets out to assess the lipoprotein-Hcy (LP-Hcy) binding in vivo and the possible influence of different apolipoprotein content in this binding.
