The demand for managing data across multiple domains for product creation is steadily increasing. Model-Driven Systems Engineering (MDSE) is a solution for this problem. With MDSE, domain-specific data is formalized inside a model with a custom language, for example, the Unified Modelling Language (UML). These models can be created with custom editors, and specialized domains can be integrated with extensions to UML, e.g., the Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
