Objective: The study's aim has been to analyze the factors associated with Tuberculosis/HIV coinfection and to determine the maximum and minimum prevalence of HIV test positivity among tuberculosis cases in Maranhao State during the 2001-2011 period. Methods: It is a cohort study that was performed by analyzing data from the Sistema de Informacoes sobre Agravos de Notificacoes (SINAN) [Disease Aggravation Information System]. Poisson's regression model was used with robust variance adjustment in order to identify associations. Results: The Tuberculosis/HIV coinfection prevalence was 15.1%.
