Gender Dysphoria is a condition that is characterized by incongruence between the experienced gender and the natal sex. They want to live and be accepted as a member of the other sex. Gender transitioning is the name given to the medical intervention that transforms a woman into a man or a man into a woman. Legal regulation regarding gender transitioning in our country is given in the 40th article of the Turkish Civil Code numbered 4721.
