Median mandibular cyst is a relatively rare, non-odontogenic cyst which is located in the middle part of the mandible. Sex distribution shows an equal predilection. This cyst has no age intervall for a tendency to occur. An 20 years-old female patient applied to our clinic for her third molar operations. During the radiologic diagnosis a radiolucent lesion was seen in the anterior region of the mandible. The lesion was removed under local anesthesia and specimen was processed for histological observation. The lesion was later diagnosed as median mandibular cyst. In this case report, treatment options and differential diagnosis were discussed
