Adequate bone quality and quantity is a definite prerequisites for implant surgery. Bone grafts and/or guided tissue regeneration procedures are used in order to overcome difficulties which may possibly arise from insufficient bony structure. Not regarding anatomical structures, lack of surgical technique or improper pre-surgical planing may result in complications in dental implant applications
