Evaluation of Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 and Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-3 Expression Levels in Patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Objective: Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a disease of nonproliferating and mature-appearing B lymphocytes. Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) is a small peptide hormone and has mitogenic and antiapoptotic effects, and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) has antiproliferative effects on cells.
