The research was conducted in the Wildlife Refuge Playa Boca Vieja (RVSPBV) aiming to census solitary nesting olive ridley Lepidochelys olivacea, obtaining biometric data from females, nests and eggs, from August 2011 to January 2012 during which he found traces of about 60 turtles. To compile this information, the team realized night watches along the beach where twelve turtles nest were censued. While doing so, seven turtles were watched in the nestling process. This process determined the optima egg-laying time frames as wellas the most frequented nesting locations along the beach When a nesting turtle was located, each step of the nesting process was logged together with the time each interval lasted.
