Oxalis corniculata Linn. (Oxalidaceae) has been long used as traditional medicine and has been recorded in traditional medicine systems such as Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha. This study explains the relationship between the use of O. corniculata as traditional medicine and its bioactivity. The method used in this research is library research online, especially from Google Scholar, using the keywords O. corniculata, uses of O. corniculata and bioactivity of O. corniculata. The results obtained were synthesized so as to provide comprehensive information about the botany, benefits and bioactivity of O. corniculata.
