Marriage is a contract that leads to the ability to get along between a man and a woman, to help each other, and to determine the boundaries of rights and obligations between them. The purpose of this study was to explore how the process of implementing the tradition of bridal bath prohibition in the Lampung tribe and how the validity of the tradition according to Islamic law. This research is empirical legal research, using primary data through the process of interviews, observation, and documentation.
