To study nomophobia in high school students, the author used the questionnaire survey method and the multiple-choice method to survey 556 high school students in Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province. Research results show that most students own a cell phone quite early; 65.9% of students surveyed have used mobile phones for three years or more or longer. Students use mobile phones mainly for "Searching for information on the Internet, Listening to music; Play Games and Text with family or friends". Most (99.3%) students have nomophobia to varying degrees. The study also found differences in high school students' nomophobia across gender and family backgrounds.
