The objective of this study was to determine the effect of the supply of calcium salts (PUFA-Ca) of flax oil rich in omega-3 (?-linolenic acid) on the production and chemical composition of milk and its nutraceutical value in dairy cows in early lactation. The experimental period lasted 12 weeks. A total of 36 Holando Argentino cows with 56.4 ± 3.0 days of lactation, 586.8 ± 15.4 kg PV, 2.3 ± 0.2 lactations and 37.7 ± 1.5 kg milk d-1 were used in a randomized complete block design.
