This paper presents analysis design and optimization of 0.4kW maximum power permanent magnet brushless DC motor for electric impact wrench. The key point of this paper is to design a most suitable BLDC for electric impact wrench which satisfies all industry requirements. In order to satisfy load capability, lifetime, low cost, fast bolting time and easy industrial mass production \u3e theory analysis about key points of motor design is discussed. Simulation and experimental verification of the prototype are analyzed and compared in detail.
