The task is a critically important concept for the study. Computers are now used beyond production environment for interaction, entertainment and as a source of information and some HCI professionals express an opinion that in such cases concepts of task and goal-directed activity are not applicable. They promote an idea that science of enjoinment reject concept of task and goal-directed approach. In this paper we demonstrate that even entertainment related human activity is goaldirected, and task concept is still critically important for its analysis.
