A study was conducted to explore a new approach to the development of Airy-Bessel light bullets. The proposed new approach was based on the unique properties of one-dimensional Airy wave packets. A new class of versatile three-dimensional linear light bullets were also reported that combined Bessel beams in the transverse plane with temporal Airy pulses. These Airy-Bessel waves were impervious to dispersion and diffraction effects, resulting in their evolution remaining free from depending critically on the material in which they propagated.
