In the last century the technological progress and the availability of cheap energy have allowed the populations of the countries industrialized to reach to conditions of life better than for the past, characterized by the increase of the duration of the middle life, from the liberation from the muscular job, from the protection of the climatic agents and from a greater social safety generally. The energy consumption, however, introduces deep interrelations with the environment, and the processes of conversion of it, cannot physically abdicate to have a more elevated impact on the ecological system. Such impact assumes forms and different entity according to the employed sources and of the final use that does. The concept of sustainable development sets the accent on the fact that will necessarily need in the future to orient it toward the realization of a process of restructuring, that makes compatible economy and environment. This approach is necessary especially in the PVS, where we can say with safety that "the industrialization was born and he is spreading with scarce consideration of the environmental problem list.
