Ultrafast all-optical switching and routing based on a quadratic parametric interaction is experimentally demonstrated in PPLN waveguide arrays. Milliwatt signals at 1550nm can be switched to different positions and wavelengths with low cross-talk. © 2003 Optical Society of America
