EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN PUPUK BERSUBSIDI DALAM PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN PETANI PADI SAWAH DI DESA RIAS KECAMATAN TOBOALI KABUPATEN BANGKA SELATAN

Rice as a food crop very needed by the people in Province of Bangka Belitung Island, specifically in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict. It caused the proper distribution of subsidized fertilizer was needed by the farmers. But, the subsidized fertilizer policy still raises various problems. This study aim to: 1) Describing the effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer policy based on the evaluation of six success indicators of subsidized fertilizer in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict, South Bangka Regency, and 2) Calculating the income of farmer using subsidized fertilizer in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict, South Bangka Regency. This study was conducted in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict, South Bangka Regency at October 2021 until July 2022. The study method used in this study was survey method. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling. The data collection method used in this study were interview, questionnaire, observation, and literature review. The data analysis used in this study was quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that: 1) The effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer policy in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict, South Bangka Regency was 46,47 percent, which means that subsidized fertilizer policy was categorized as ineffective because the right price indicator, the right quantity indicator, and the right type indicator were not successfully fulfilled, and 2) The farmers income in Rias Village, Toboali Subdistrict, South Bangka Regency was Rp. 3.930.467 per month, where the income was included in the very high category because rice farming was the main livelihood for the farmers
