Background: Postoperative bleeding remains a relatively common complication following bariatric surgery and may lead to morbidity and even mortality. Objective: To develop a prediction model to identify patients at risk for postoperative bleeding. Setting: Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis, Beverwijk, the Netherlands.
