The present study indicates a good potential of Oral Fast Dissolving Nano films containing Telmisartan for systemic delivery with an added advantage of circumventing the hepatic first pass metabolism and prolong the duration of its action. Efforts should be made to develop standard invitro method to characterize and compare different material and formulation in terms of their capability to promote drug absorption via the buccal route.
