The present investigations draw the following conclusion. The docking report shows that eugenol is biologically active against the Adenosine A2a receptor for bronchodilation. The least docking score of the compound indicates the great potential against the broncho-dilatory effect. The phytochemical screening of the Hydro-alcoholic and Ethanolic extract of the whole plant of Mukia maderaspatana (Linn), M.Roem, revealed the presence of phenols, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins and glycosides. Thin Layer Chromatography of Mukia maderaspatana (Linn), M.Roem indicates the identification of the active constituent with the Rf value of the standard (eugenol).
