Sleep is important for a healthy development in life. It has also been shown that physical activity has various positive effects on health. It has been proven that physical activity can have healthy benefits in terms of sleep duration. The recommended amount of sleep for adolescents aged from 13-18 years old is 8-10 hours per night. The aim of this study was to survey sleeping habits of adolescents in Iceland and how much physical activity they do, whether this is connected and then how.
