The objective of this study was to analyze fine motor skills and graphoplastic techniques in dental students. The study was descriptive, observational, quantitative, cross-sectional, applied to the students of the fourth cycle of the Dentistry career of the Matriz campus of the Catholic University of Cuenca. It is concluded that the fine motor skills and the correct coordination between eyes, hands and fingers are a fundamental pillar in the preparation and execution of each of the clinical activities that each student must perform in their pre-professional practices.
