El femicidio y su incidencia en los derechos humanos de las mujeres de Ecuador

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze femicide and its impact on the human rights of women in Ecuador. It was developed under a quantitative approach, by means of research, collection and critical analysis through a documentary, bibliographic and statistical typology. A bibliographic design of documentary type, which seeks reflection and critical analysis, and to build related methods of discernment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or consider new contexts. In this sense, several laws, norms, reports and agreements were considered in order to investigate and obtain relevant information. It is concluded that violence against women constitutes a serious problem, first in the legal sphere, since this type of violence is customary, that is to say that it is a problem that has been occurring for years, and second in public health because it negatively affects the physical, mental, sexual and reproductive health of women.El objetivo general de la investigación fue analizar jurídicamente el femicidio y su incidencia en los derechos humanos de las mujeres de Ecuador. Se desarrolló bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, mediante la indagación, recolección y análisis crítico a través de una tipología documental, bibliográfica y estadística. Un diseño bibliográfico de tipo documental, que busca la reflexión y análisis crítico, y se construyan métodos relacionados de discernimiento del fenómeno y así evaluar o considerar nuevos contextos. En tal sentido se consideraron varias leyes, normas, informes, convenio, con el objetivo de indagar y obtener la información relevante. Se concluye que, la violencia contra la mujer constituye un grave problema, primero en el ámbito legal, ya que este tipo de violencia es consuetudinaria, es decir que es una problemática que viene manifestándose desde años atrás y segundo de salud pública porque afecta negativamente a la salud física, mental, sexual y reproductiva de las mujeres
