UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A FELICIDADE E INFELICIDADE NO PROCESSO CIVILIZATÓRIO NA SOCIEDADE TECNOLÓGICA DO SÉCULO XXI

In his book “Civilization and its discontents” (1930), Sigmund Freud (1856 – 1939) develop an analysis on how pleasure and displasure are manifested in the individual’s psyche, what are their relations with the psychic mecanism from unconsciousness to consciousness, from Id to Superego; what are the effects that such sensations can cause in a pathological level, in addition to identifying what are the genetic sources that influence the individual´s state of unhappiness. Using elements from areas of knowledge such as anthropology, mythology, sociology and religion, Freud develop an investigation about how happiness and unhappiness are manifested in the civilizing process. This paper presents the main concepts in Freud’s work about the construction of pleasure (happiness) and unpleasure (unhappiness), proposing, in addition, a reflection grounded in those concepts that can help understand the twenty first century technological reality.Na sua obra “Mal-estar da Civilização” (1930), Sigmund Freud (1856– 1939) desenvolve uma análise de como o prazer e o desprazer se manifestam na psique do indivíduo, suas relações com o mecanismo psíquico desde o inconsciente até o consciente, do Eu ao Supereu; quais são os efeitos que tais sensações podem causar em nível patológico, além de identificar as fontes genéticas que influenciam no estado de infelicidade do indivíduo. A partir de elementos de áreas de conhecimento como a Antropologia, a Mitologia, a Sociologia e da Religião, Freud desenvolve uma investigação acerca de como se manifesta, no processo civilizatório, a felicidade e a infelicidade. Este artigo apresenta os principais conceitos da obra freudiana acerca da construção do prazer (felicidade) e do desprazer (infelicidade), propondo, além disso, uma reflexão embasada por tais conceitos para auxiliar na compreensão da realidade tecnológica no século XXI
