PERAN GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MENANGGULANGI KENAKALAN SISWA DI SMPIT AS-SALAM KOTA MALANG

Lately the problem of student delinquency is getting more and more inevitable. In the school environment, student delinquency cases are of various types, from minor violations such as not being present at school, saying dirty words, being disrespectful to teachers and parents to the toughest cases such as bullying, fights between students. students, cases of pornography, drugs, immoral acts and so on. Student delinquency needs serious attention and handling from all parties. In schools, the person who plays a very important role in educating students is a teacher. Teachers are the second parents of students at the school. Among all teachers, Islamic religious education teachers have a very important responsibility and role in instilling religious values in students as well as fostering students' character and morals. The research location is at SMPIT As-Salam, Malang city. This research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of phenomenological research. The results of this study indicate that: 1) student delinquency at SMPIT As-Salam Malang City includes fighting, bullying, bringing cellphones to school, using harsh words, 2) The impact of student delinquency at SMPIT As-Salam Malang City includes reduced enthusiasm for learning, 3 ) The role of PAI teachers in tackling delinquency in SMPIT As-Salam Malang City students includes scoring and punishment, approaches and warnings, and provides motivation
