IMPLEMENTASI METODE USWAH HASANAH DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SANTRI PONDOK PESANTREN SABILURROSYAD GASEK MALANG

Uswah hasanah or exemplary nature can be shown in behavior by a teacher or all components of a foundation in providing examples of good actions, so that they are expected to be role models for all students. In Islamic boarding schools, a caregiver and asatidz are the first to set an example of how to behave and behave properly in accordance with religious norms and values. This research was carried out at the Sabilurrosyad Gasek Islamic Boarding School, Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques and checking the validity of data and data are presented in descriptive form. The results show that: 1) The condition of the character of the students at the Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School can be seen from the 4 dimensions of the general character of the students which include: Religious Character, Simple Character, Simplicity Character, and Independent Character. 2) the implementation of the uswah hasanah method in shaping the character of the santri at the Sabilurrosyad Gasek Islamic boarding school, Malang, 3) the obstacles in implementing the uswah hasanah method to shape the character of the santri at the Sabilurrosyad Gasek Malang Islamic boarding school
