PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER DISIPLIN MELALUI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI DI SMPN 3 JATINOM KLATEN

The study discusses the formation of Discipline Characters through Student ReligiousActivities in Islamic Studies Subjects at SMPN 3 Jatinom Klaten. This study aims todescribe the method of forming disciplinary character through students' religiousactivities in PAI subjects, the role of PAI teachers and the results of disciplinarycharacter formation through students' religious activities in PAI subjects. The focusof the research used included: how the methods and roles of PAI teachers formdisciplined character through students' religious activities in PAI subjects, what arethe results of disciplinary character formation through students' religious activitiesin PAI subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach while this type of researchuses a case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews anddocumentation. The data sources come from PAI teachers, school principals andstudents. The results of this study are 1) the method used using exemplary methodsand habituation methods, 2) the role of the PAI teacher includes educating students;form good morals in students; give good direction; and giving an example, 3) theresults of the formation of disciplined character: students come to school on time,students perform obligatory prayers 5 times a day, students do their assignments ontime
