Background: Therapeutic Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is the standard procedure for biliary pathology. Many anatomical factors can lead to its failure. The combined percutaneous-endoscopic Rendezvous technique (CPERT) is a rescue alternative in those patients. Objective: To describe the experience and usefulness of the CPERT as a rescue technique in patients with obstructive biliary pathology where the ERCP approach has failed.
