La educación ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible: Materia pendiente de la Educación Básica Primaria colombiana

The objective of this article was to reflect on the theme of environmental education and sustainable development in the formation of boys and girls in Basic Primary Education. The research was documentary, with a qualitative approach. To carry out the analysis and interpretation of the data and reach the understanding of the problem, three scientific articles and three theses that deal with the topic of interest of this study were used as a corpus. The results show that the Colombian context had sufficient legal and educational instruments aimed at consolidating a culture in favor of the care, preservation and sustainability of the environment; however, until now the proposed objectives have not been achieved and Colombia has been classified as one of the countries with the greatest environmental conflicts. What leads to reflect on the responsibility of teachers and the commitment that the school has to generate awareness for environmental problems that affect all humanity.El objetivo de este artículo fue reflexionar en torno a la temática de educación ambiental y el desarrollo sostenible en la formación de los niños y niñas de Educación Básica Primaria. La investigación fue de tipo documental, con enfoque cualitativo. Para realizar el análisis e interpretación de los datos y llegar a la compresión de la problemática. Se utilizaron como corpus tres artículos científicos y tres tesis que tratan el tema de interés de este estudio. En los resultados se observó que el contexto colombiano cuenta con suficientes instrumentos jurídicos y educativos dirigidos a consolidar una cultura a favor del cuidado, preservación y sustentabilidad del ambiente; sin embargo, hasta ahora no se han logrado los objetivos propuestos y Colombia ha sido catalogado como uno de los países con mayores conflictos ambientales. Lo que lleva a reflexionar sobre la responsabilidad de los maestros y el compromiso que tiene la escuela para generar concienciación en pro de las problemáticas ambientales que afectan a toda la humanidad.   ABSTRACT The objective of this article was to reflect on the theme of environmental education and sustainable development in the formation of boys and girls in Basic Primary Education. Key words: Environmental education; Sustainable development; Primary education   RÉSUMÉ  L'objectif de cet article est de réfléchir sur le thème de l'éducation à l'environnement et au développement durable dans la formation des garçons et des filles dans l'Enseignement Primaire de Base. La recherche est documentaire, avec une approche qualitative. Pour effectuer l'analyse et l'interprétation des données et parvenir à la compréhension du problème, trois articles scientifiques et trois thèses qui traitent du sujet d'intérêt de cette étude ont été utilisés comme corpus. Les résultats montrent que le contexte colombien dispose d'instruments juridiques et éducatifs suffisants visant à consolider une culture en faveur du soin, de la préservation et de la durabilité de l'environnement; cependant, jusqu'à présent, les objectifs proposés n'ont pas été atteints et la Colombie a été classée comme l'un des pays avec les plus grands conflits environnementaux. Ce qui amène à réfléchir sur la responsabilité des enseignants et l'engagement que l'école a de sensibiliser en faveur des problèmes environnementaux qui affectent toute l'humanité.  Mots-clés: Éducation à l'environnement; Développement durable; Enseignement primair
