Inteligencia emocional en la ansiedad matemática

Emotional intelligence influences all spheres of life, including education, in which various affectations such as math anxiety are recognized. This article aimed to establish the scope of emotional intelligence in math anxiety. This study was developed on the basis of documentary research. Fifteen scientific articles were selected from electronic databases, published between 2012 and 2022, peer reviewed, in Spanish or English, and whose study participants belonged to various academic levels. The analysis of the information was carried out in a deductive way, considering the particular theoretical contributions of the authors, results and discussion of the investigations. The findings confirm the incidence of the affective dimension in mathematics education, demonstrating that the effective management of emotions through emotional intelligence determines an attractive mathematical learning environment, in which the teacher plays a leading role.La inteligencia emocional influye en todas las esferas de la vida, incluso en la educación, en la cual se reconocen diversas afectaciones como la ansiedad matemática. Este articulo pretendió establecer el alcance de la inteligencia emocional en la ansiedad matemática. El estudio se desarrolló enmarcado en una revisión sistemática. Se seleccionaron 15 artículos científicos de bases de datos electrónicas, publicados entre 2012 y 2022, arbitrados por pares, en español o inglés y cuyos participantes objeto de los estudios perteneciesen a diversos niveles académicos. El análisis de la información se realizó de manera deductiva, considerando los aportes teóricos particulares de los autores, resultados y discusión de las investigaciones. Los hallazgos confirman la incidencia de la dimensión afectiva en la educación matemática, demostrando que la efectiva gestión de las emociones mediante la inteligencia emocional determina un entorno de aprendizaje matemático atractivo, en el cual el docente cumple un rol protagónico. Cet article vise à établir l'étendue de l'intelligence émotionnelle dans l'anxiété mathématique. L'étude a été développée dans le cadre d'une recherche documentaire. Quinze articles scientifiques ont été sélectionnés dans des bases de données électroniques, publiés entre 2012 et 2022, évalués par des pairs, en espagnol ou en anglais et dont les participants appartenaient à différents niveaux académiques. L'analyse de l'information a été réalisée de manière déductive, en considérant les contributions théoriques particulières des auteurs, les résultats et la discussion de la recherche. Les résultats confirment l'incidence de la dimension affective dans l'enseignement des mathématiques, démontrant que la gestion efficace des émotions grâce à l'intelligence émotionnelle détermine un environnement d'apprentissage mathématique attrayant, dans lequel l'enseignant joue un rôle de premier plan.
