Homossexualidade, psicanálise freudiana e pós-modernidade

The choice of homosexuality as central theme for this article arouse from a personal dissatisfaction with the “silence” surround this topic in the academic context. The few times the topic has been mentioned in the classroom, either in theoretical treatment or even informally, the discussion has always been superficial and permeated by dogmatic positioning over the religious treatment of the topic that has been ferociously combated and abominated by the intellectual academics, be they professors or students. The current work has the intention of investigating the development of homosexuality as a concept with its multiple historical influences, with the intention of revealing what is behind the contemporary notion of homosexuality. Keywords: Homosexuality. Freud. Post-modernism.A escolha da homossexualidade como tema central deste artigo surgiu de uma inquietação diante do “silêncio” em torno desse tema no meio acadêmico. As raríssimas vezes em que se fez alusão ao assunto dentro da sala de aula, quer numa abordagem teórica ou mesmo informal, sempre se deu de forma superficial ou permeada por um discurso ora dogmático ora moralista. Nestes termos, o presente trabalho se propôs investigar a evolução conceitual sobre a homossexualidade, com suas múltiplas influências históricas, na busca de desvelar o que esta subjacente à noção contemporânea de homossexualidade. Tratou-se de pesquisa bibliográfica focada na contribuição da psicanálise para a compreensão da temática em questão na atualidade. Palavras-chave: Homossexualidade. Freud. Pós-modernidade
