Violência sexual: análise de dados relacionados ao atentado violento ao pudor - doi: 10.5020/18061230.2012.p235

Objective: To describe the profile of people submitted to the Indecent Assault Evaluation (IAE) at the Nucleus for Legal Medicine and Dentistry (NUMOL) in Campina Grande - PB, Brazil. Methods: This is a descriptive and documentary survey carried out with medical reports of incident assault performed against men and women of any age, who were evaluated at the Nucleus for Legal Medicine and Dentistry (NUMOL) in Campina Grande - PB, Brasil, from 2005 to 2009. Data collection instrument was a specially designed form based on existing information in the IAE records. Data was recorded in SPSS, version 17, and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: Male individuals (n = 85; 62%), under the age of 20 (n = 112; 81.8%) were the main victims. The notification of sexual violence was carried out by the parents (n = 34; 24.8%), mostly by the mother (n = 27; 19.7%), and the police stations were the most frequent location to express the complaint (n = 134; 97.8%). The violence was committed by a single perpetrator (n = 78; 56.9%), who was known by the victim (n = 88; 64.2%). The crime of rape was confirmed in (n = 48) 35% of cases. Conclusion: The men, most of them young, are the main victims of indecent assault, and violence is committed by one individual, member of the victim’s social circle.Descrever o perfil das pessoas submetidas ao exame de Atentado Violento ao Pudor (AVP), atendidas no Núcleo de Medicina e Odontologia Legal (NUMOL) de Campina Grande - PB. Brasil. Métodos: Trata-se de pesquisa descritiva e documental realizada com laudos de Atentado Violento ao Pudor (AVP) que ocorreram com homens e mulheres, de qualquer faixa etária, atendidas no Núcleo de Medicina e Odontologia Legal (NUMOL) de Campina Grande – PB, entre os anos de 2005 e 2009. O instrumento de coleta de dados compreendeu um formulário elaborado com base nas informações existentes nos laudos de AVP. Os dados foram registrados no SPSS, versão 17, e analisados por meio da estatística descritiva. Resultados: Indivíduos do sexo masculino (n = 85; 62%), menores de 20 anos de idade (n = 112; 81,8%) se constituíram nas principais vítimas. A notificação da violência sexual foi realizada pelos genitores (n = 34; 24,8%), principalmente pela mãe (n = 27; 19,7%), sendo as delegacias os locais mais frequentes para a denúncia (n = 134; 97,8%). A violência foi praticada por um único agressor (n = 78; 56,9%), conhecido da vítima (n = 88; 64,2%). O crime de estupro foi confirmado em (n = 48) 35% dos casos. Conclusão: Os homens, em sua maioria jovens, são as principais vítimas do atentado violento ao pudor, e a violência é praticada por um único indivíduo, integrante do círculo social da vítima
