This study investigated the prevalence and associated factors of low back pain (LBP) among T2DM. LBP was assessed using the Standardized Nordic Questionnaire, Wong-Baker Face Pain Scale for pain intensity and disability level was evaluated using the Revised Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire. 55.3% of the T2DM participants suffered LBP in the last 12 months. Employment status (Χ2=4.088, p=0.043), education level (Χ2=8.572, p=0.018) and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) level (Χ2=6.381, p=0.041) were significantly associated with the occurrence of LBP.
