El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar el efecto antifúngico del aceite esencial de Citrus reticulata (Mandarina) y Citrus sinensis (Naranja Tangelo) sobre Candida albicans in vitro. Siendo la metodología de estudio investigación inductiva, experimental de corte transversal y prospectiva, el método usado fue arrastre con vapor, la determinación del efecto antifúngico fue por el método de Kirby Bauer. En los resultados los halos de inhibición de el aceite de Citrus reticulata al 100% (13.57% + 0.39), al 50% (7.81mm + 0.31), y para Citrus sinensis al 100% (14.5mm + 0.34) y al 50% (8.39mm + 0.31).
