A fundamental objective of every health care worker is to provide economical and long-lasting care to recently discharged patients as they transition back to their standard life. This review evaluates whether an affordable, tailored education package can increase self-efficacy in stroke patients that have been discharged recently through comparing scores on a 10-point Likert scale between the intervention and control group, as well as between an initial and a follow up assessment for the intervention group. It was found that the tailored information package significantly increased the short-term self-efficacy in recently discharged stroke patients with regards to coping with stroke, however it failed to do so in other aspects of self-effica...
