Abstract

This letter dated March 28, 1952, from Three Affiliated Tribes member Martin Fox to United States (US) Senator William Langer, expresses concern that the tribal council has been taking trips to Washington, D.C., and the people do not know why. Fox expresses concern at being left in the dark by the tribal council and worries that the council is spending tribal funds unnecessarily. Fox further says that he feels that his representation treats him and other tribal members as feeble-minded. Fox asks Langer to consider these matters. A handwritten note at the top of the letter reads, Indian Affairs and Spotted Bear, Justin.
