This thesis presents an interface. Process Control Interface (PCI), which can be used by a Hewlett-Packard (HP) 2100A minicomputer to control an industrial process. The Process Control Interface (PCI) has four distinct functions: 1) Digital Output 2) Digital Input 3) Analog Output 4) Analog Input These four functions allow a user to monitor an industrial process using inputs, and to control it using outputs.
