This study aims to examine the effect of motivation on the performance of employees of the Pekanbaru Legal Aid Institute through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population of this study were all employees of the Pekanbaru Legal Aid Institute for Employees at the position of legal aid servant and assistant legal aid servant, totaling 41 employees.
