Analisis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Siswa Kelas XI Pada Materi Jaringan Tumbuhan SMAN 5 Balai Jaya Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022

This study aims to analyze the students' higher order thinking skills in solving problems in the daily test of plant tissue material at the high school level. This research is a descriptive research. The instruments used were interviews and questions on higher order thinking skills on plant tissue material based on the revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The research was carried out on November 29, 2021 until December 4, 2021. The sample in this study was all 61 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 5 Balai Jaya. The results showed that the high-order thinking ability of the XI MIPA class students of SMAN 5 Balai Jaya of the three levels of higher-order thinking questions, 43.07% of students were able to correctly answer questions C4, while for questions C5 and C6, each were 40.08% and 38.50%. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that students of SMAN 5 Balai Jaya for the academic year 2021/2022 have higher order thinking skills (HOTS) in the low category
