Upaya Meningkatkan Kemampuan Passing Dan Stopping Sepakbola Melalui Metode Bermain Pada Siswa Kelas XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 8 Mandau

The purpose of this study was to find out how to improve football passing and stopping skills through the playing method in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 8 Mandau. The type of this research is CAR (Classroom Action Research). The population and sample in this study were students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 8 Mandau, totaling 33 people. The research instrument used was the passing and stopping work rubik's assessment. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that in the first cycle students are in the Good category, with an average value of 78.15, but classical completeness has not been achieved because only 54.54% of students got a score of 72, it is necessary to do Cycle 2, From the results of Cycle 2 there is an increase, namely the average value of students is 79.36. And classical completeness has been achieved which is equal to 75.75%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in passing and stopping football through the playing method for students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 8 Mandau because the indicator of success has been achieved in the second cycle of 75.75%
