Strategi Pengembangan Desa Wisata Koto Sentajo Kecamatan Sentajo Raya Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

STRATEGY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF KOTO SENTAJO TOURISM VILLAGE, SENTAJO RAYA DISTRICT, KUANTAN SINGINGI REGENCY At : SRI NOPITA IRVIANTI NPM : 163410737 ABSTRACT A tourist village is a village that has unique potential and unique tourist attractions, both from the physical rural natural environment and the socio-cultural life of the community. Where Koto Sentajo Village has the potential for relics of the Godang house which has historical and cultural values and still has cultural values that are still maintained and has been designated as a Cultural Tourism Village in Kuantan Singingi Regency. In 2017 the tourist village has not been developed to the maximum and the supporting conditions for tourism are still minimal and there is a lack of public awareness of the Koto Sentajo tourist village. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the current condition of the development of the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village and what strategies are appropriate to the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village. This study aims to formulate a strategy for developing the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village. Data collection in this study used primary and secondary methods. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative with a sampling technique by purposive sampling. The targets to be achieved are (a) Identify the product components of the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, (b) the role of the government in the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, (c) the role of the community in the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, (d) the development strategy of the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village with techniques IFAS-EFAS analysis. This study shows that there are several Koto Sentajo Tourism Village components that have not fulfilled the components of Koto Sentajo Tourism Village products such as amenities, accessibility, lack of development and tourism regulations, promotion and environmental cleanliness. Meanwhile, based on the results of the IFAS-EFAS analysis, there are six strategies for developing the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, namely (a) maintaining various tourist attractions that are typical tourist attractions in the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, (b) offering life experiences in the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village, (c) ) improve accessibility to the Koto Sentajo Tourism Village (d) Language training strategies and tour guides to local communities, (e) Promotion strategies through online/print media, (f) Conduct development of Koto Sentajo Tourism Village in terms of tourism village product components that have not been fulfilled
