Pertunjukan Musik Rebana (Lagu Timang Budak) Pada Grup Tunas Harapan Jaya Di Sei Mendung Desa Sungai Dua Indah Kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Provinsi Riau

REBANA MUSIC PERFORMANCE (SONG TIMANG BUDAK) AT THE TUNAS HARAPAN JAYA GROUP AT SEI MENDUNG VILLAGE OF SUNGAI DUA INDAH, RMBAH HILR DISTRICT, ROKAN HULU REGENCY, RIAU PROVINCE Iin Wahyuni NPM: 176710103 Dr. Nurmalinda, S.Kar., M.Pd NIDN: 1014096701 ABSTRACT This study aims to find out how the Tambourine Music Performance (Timang Budak Song) in the Tunas Harapan Jaya Group in Sei Mendung, Sungai Dua Indah Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province. According to Edy Sedyawati (2001: 02) said that performing arts if there are several elements in it, namely 1) time, 2) place, 3) players, 4) audience. Time is an opportunity that can be used by performers, place is a place or location that is used as a show, performer is a show performed by one or more people, the audience is to support continuity in a show. The data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Researchers used data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. From the results of the research conducted, the researchers gave verification. In performances, the Tunas Harapan Jaya Rebana Group usually performs at various events such as thanksgiving (shaving of hair), circumcision, and wedding parties. The show during the day starts at 09.00 WIB until 11.00 WIB, while at night it starts at 20.00 WIB until 22.00 WIB. The players usually appear by sitting under the mat or carpet that has been provided. For the costumes used, sometimes they wear uniform costumes and sometimes they are not uniform as well as make up, they are not required to use them. There are 17 players in the tambourine group, Tunas Harapan Jaya. In performing the Timang Slave song, they use two singers. The audience who attended were the local community and family members. This timang slave song is sung when the child is in the swing that has been provided. The supporting tools used in this show are in the form of a sound system, mic and so on
