This study aims to determine the development of Saman's extacurricular dance atSMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu. The research method used in this study is a descriptivemethod of analysis with qualitative data, the reason being this method was designedby directly the object offered. It should automatically be more than what is done bystudents and students who take samples of research locations in Jl.Kayu Aro. DesaTanah Merah, Siak Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau Province, the sampleused was a purposive sample from the results of research, the research findings ofholding extracurricular activities were to develop students' talents in the field ofdance.
