Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Pembangunan Desa Pengalihan Kecamatan Keritanv Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This research was conducted in the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, regarding Community Participation in the Development of the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this research is the lack of community participation in the development of the Pengalihan Village and the lack of socialization of the village government in village development. This research was conducted by descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The purpose of this study was to determine community participation in the development of the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of community participation in the development of the Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The data collection techniques in this study were Observation, Interview and Documentation, five key informants and informants. The results of this study concluded that community participation in the development of Pengalihan Village, Keritang District, Indragiri Hilir Regency with indicators 1) planning development, 2) carrying the burden of development (community self-help), 3) implementing development 4) supervising and assessing the development process and results, 5) accepting and take advantage of the results of existing development in the village, after the research, the five indicators are still not fully implemented. The inhibiting factors are the lack of participation and socialization, budget constraints, and inefficient time
