Perkembangan Lingkungan Pengendapan Transisi Daerah Pandam Gadang Dan Sekitarnya Kecamatan Suliki Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Provinsi Sumatera Barat

The research area is part of the Suliki sub-district, Fifty Cities district, West Sumatra Province. Geographically, it is located at coordinates 0º25'28,71''N - 0º22'14,52''LS and 100º15'44,10''E - 100º50'47,80'' BT.S. Transitional depositional environments are all depositional environments located or near the land-sea transitional area. The study area occupies part of the Ombilin basin. The stratigraphy of the study area was based on the geological map of the Solok sheet (P.H Kastowo and Silitonga, 1995). How are the geological characteristics related to the depositional environment in the research area, how is the development of the depositional environment in the research area. The research method was carried out by collecting primary and secondary data in the form of geological data, outcrop data, rock incision data from field samples and laboratory analysis, Framework Map data of the research area to determine the position of rock units in the research area, and fossil analysis data in the Paleontology Lab. Rock units from old to young consist of Sandstone Units (Sbp), and Gray Wacke Sandstones (Tmblk). Unit of geological characteristics using primary data analysis of profiles and the development phase of the depositional environment of the study area. Depositional Environment The study area is the Land and Delta Environment (Upper Delta Plain)
